The Big Blue
can be played either as a normal acoustic harp or as an
amplified harp. The harp is supplied with two
pickup systems. The normal Camac system, with a
transducer for each string, is installed along with an
additional traditional pickup system fixed to the
soundboard. The purity and strength of the signal
are such that the harpist is encouraged to experiment
with bold and daring innovations and special effects.
