Dr. Jaymee Haefner – Masterclass

Sunday, April 8th

Don’t miss this great opportunity to meet University of North Texas’s professor or harp, Dr. Jaymee Haefner!

Jaymee Haefner’s performances have been described by Daniel Buckley as possessing “an air of dreamy lyricism… interlocking melody lines with the deftness of a dancer’s footwork.” Jaymee joined the University of North Texas (UNT) faculty in 2006 and was appointed as Director of Undergraduate Studies for the College of Music in 2010.

Dr. Haefner’s teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that each student is an individual, and should be encouraged in this way. Her teaching is a fusion of several approaches, passed onto her through her studies with Susann McDonald, Carrol McLaughlin, Anna Vorhes, and Kathy Bundock-Moore.
